PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is optimistic able to become one of the banks that provide financial services digitally, in an effort to expand the penetration of services and financial services for the community or financial inclusion.
"We were able to follow the program because we feel we already have a prospective and Flazz BCA which is digital money. We have participated (for electronic money), " said Vice President Director of BCA Eugene Galbraith, in Jakarta, Monday, June 2, 2014 .
Although not explained in detail, but according to Eugene needs a lot of preparation for a bank to provide financial services to digital, to realize the concept of banking services without a physical office network or the branchless banking.
"I think we are still reviewing, " he said .
As known, Bank Indonesia has renewed rules on electronic money , by incorporating Digital Financial Service delivery arrangements or common abbreviated DFS. The central bank sees the need of policies to expand the reach of electronic money services, to remote areas, to support financial inclusion.
