BNI throw Microcredit distribution to BNI Syariah

As one of the major banks in the country , BNI BNI Syariah to rely on lending to micro segment .

PT Bank Negara Indonesia ( Persero ) Tbk ( BNI ) admitted to not having the competence to enter into micro segments , thus lending to this segment will be conducted by its subsidiary, PT Bank BNI Syariah .

He explained that the BNI itself is designed more for the corporate segment making it difficult to get into micro segments. For that, continued Gatot, the company took off BNI Syariah as a subsidiary in July 2010 .

" Micro ( BNI Syariah ) has started since last year , " he said .

He added that the current employees of micro- businesses BNI Syariah there were 1,400 people, with the number of customers reached 12 thousand. based on this number, Gatot judges, BNI Syariah capacity to grow the micro credit is still very large .
