Bank Mandiri, BNI and Muamalat Receive Award from Alpha Southeast Asia

PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) and PT Bank Muamalat Tbk scale attained awards from Alpha Southeast Asia Southeast Asia, economics and business magazine based in Hong Kong.


The award was held in Jakarta, Tuesday, August 26 2014 Bank Mandiri won several awards The Best Trade Finance Bank in Indonesia, Best Bank in Indonesia, Best Private Wealth Management Bank, Best FX Bank, Best CFO in Indonesia and Most Organized IR.

"This achievement can be a trigger for us to continue to develop trade finance business by optimizing the opportunities that exist, in order to grow toward a much more BAUK sustainable manner," said Senior Executive Vice President of Transaction Banking of Bank Mandiri, Frans Usthavia Rico.

While other fellow state-owned bank, BNI won three awards namely the Best International Banking Division of The Year 2014 in Southeast Asia, The Best Cash Management Bank, and The Best SME Bank in Indonesia.

Director of Business Banking BNI, Suparto Krishna said the awards as a bank that has the best international division in Southeast Asia as it is considered superior to the company's business performance, network coverage and business strategy.

While Bank Muamalat awarded the Best Islamic Finance Bank in Indonesia. The award is the sixth time since 2009 the company acquired "the international community's appreciation of the pioneers of Islamic banking is in line with the performance of Bank Muamalat and business expansion at the regional level with the opening of international offices in Malaysia in 2009," said Director of Finance and Operations of Bank Muamalat Hendiarto .
